Gibbon calls can be heard 2 miles away. Gibbons are crazy about singing. Male and female pairs often perform duets together, singing slightly different notes to harmonize. Different species of gibbons have similar coloring, but are identified by their different songs. If you like gibbon calls you’re in luck, they are incredibly loud and can be heard from a great distance. If you don’t like gibbon calls, that makes sense, because they sound like car alarms.
